What degree can I get into after UniPrep?


If you successfully complete UniPrep (both AEP1111 and AEP1112, or an approved course substitution), you will be eligible to meet the academic entry requirements for the following undergraduate degrees.

Arts and Communication

Aviation

Business

Engineering and Surveying

Health

Information Technology

Law 

Sciences and Agriculture

Notes: Some degrees may have assumed or recommended knowledge. The entry requirements for your degree in the program guide will show any assumed or recommended knowledge. If you are not completing the assumed or recommended knowledge in your Year 12 studies and you would like to develop your knowledge further prior to commencing your degree, you can undertake study in UniSQ Ready. UniSQ Ready includes bridging courses in areas such as maths and science.  

In addition to the academic entry requirements, all students will also need to meet the English language requirements for their degree. 

If you successfully complete UniPrep and also meet the Year 12 subject pre-requisite requirements through your secondary schooling, you are eligible to apply for the following degrees.  

If you haven't completed the relevant subject pre-requisite in Year 12, you may be eligible study UniSQ Ready courses to complete this requirement before applying for your degree.

The following degrees require a competitive Grade Point Average (GPA) in both UniPrep courses for entry. If you do not meet the required GPA, there are alternate entry pathways available. 

Some of the following degrees will also require that you meet Year 12 subject pre-requisite requirements through your secondary schooling. If you haven't completed the relevant subject pre-requisite in Year 12, you may be eligible study UniSQ Ready courses to complete this requirement before applying for your degree.

* Please note that this degree is quota managed which means that meeting entry requirements does not guarantee admission. Places within the degree are limited and determined on the availability of placements. This degree also has a higher level of English language requirements for entry. 
^ If you do not meet the GPA requirement for this degree, you may be eligible for entry into the Associate Degree of Allied Health (quotas apply) as a pathway. 
# If you do not meet the GPA requirement for Psychology, you may be eligible for entry into the Bachelor of Arts (Psychology major) as a pathway. 

If you haven't completed the relevant subject pre-requisite in Year 12, you may be eligible to study UniSQ Ready courses to complete this requirement before applying.


Law

If you do not meet the GPA requirement for entry into Law, you may be eligible for entry into the Bachelor of Arts (Legal Studies major) as a pathway.

Alternately, if you are interested in a double degree, you may wish to apply for the other degree you want to study and use this as a pathway. For example, if you want to study the Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Laws, you may be eligible to apply for the Bachelor of Business
