It’s ideal for those wanting to upskill quickly or use it as a pathway into a bachelor's degree. UniSQ’s Diploma of Engineering and Technologies is a pathway program, giving you credit towards an engineering degree.

An undergraduate degree in engineering, such as an Associate Degree of Engineering or a Bachelor of Engineering Technology, is a longer qualification (typically three to four years of full-time study) that combines theory and practice, preparing you for advanced career opportunities, leadership roles, and postgraduate study. In short, the diploma offers a fast, affordable entry point, while the degree provides broader academic depth and long-term career growth.
