We provide opportunities for students to complete their professional experience placements throughout Queensland, around Australia and overseas. Professional experience placements have been streamlined and with enrolment pattern support students can complete their program within four years.

Our academic and professional staff members are highly experienced at delivering pre-service teacher education across early childhood, primary and secondary schooling sectors. As an engaged and dedicated team of educators, we are committed to equipping and empowering individuals and groups to engage in life-long, life-wide learning and model the latest teaching approaches and innovative communication technologies to ensure maximum support for students in face-to-face, online and blended learning modes.

About UniSQ Creative Arts

Creative Arts at UniSQ prepares students for global engagement as practitioners, educators, creators, advocates, and patrons of the arts. We foster the development of professional skills and intellectual growth necessary for the pursuit of creative and scholarly inquiry by extending artistic traditions, while embracing a culture of innovation and change. Students benefit from an innovative and inspirational learning community.

We provide hands-on, practical skills development underpinned by discipline-specific theory to ensure our graduates are knowledgeable and profession ready. Our graduates possess critical and creative thinking, effective communication, imagination, entrepreneurialism, a strong sense of agency, and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

Our creative arts programs are also not included in the Federal Government’s recent fee increases for Humanities courses which means you won’t pay higher fees for your courses.

Enrol and be part of the next generation of storytellers today – there's never been a better time, or place, to realise your creative potential than right now!
