Frequently asked questions
UniPrep is the ideal university preparation program if you are in Year 11 or Year 12 and want to explore your future in higher education. Whether you want to gain entry into a specific degree or are just curious about university study, UniPrep helps you build the confidence and skills you need for academic success.
This pathway program is a great fit if you:
- want to gain a solid understanding of university level study and develop essential academic skills.
- are exploring alternative entry pathways to university and want to see if it's the right fit for you.
- didn't study the prerequisite subjects you need for your chosen degree.
- Are feeling uncertain about whether your ATAR will get you into your chosen UniSQ degree.
With UniPrep, you’ll gain valuable insights into university expectations, boost your study techniques, and open doors to a wide range of UniSQ degree.
Our UniPrep pathway program is delivered across two sessions. Session 1 runs for three months, and Session 2 is four months in duration, making the full program seven months in total.
You can only enrol in one course per session, so completing both courses requires participation in both Sessions 1 and 2.
We recommend that Year 12 students begin in Session 1, giving you time to complete the full program in one year. This means that you'll be eligible to apply for an undergraduate degree at UniSQ in your first year out of school.
