Preparing to graduate

Graduating from university is an exciting moment. The culmination of your countless hours of dedication and effort.

As you near the end of your program, we recommend you go through the following ‘steps to graduating’, to help simplify your graduation experience.

Your first step is checking that your personal details are correct, particularly your:

given and family names
date of birth
mailing address
phone and ‘Other’ email (non-UniSQ).

Find your details under ‘Personal Details’ in your ‘Student Centre’, which you can access through UConnect.

After results release for your final study period, we’ll do our final checks on your academic work and results. When approved, we’ll send you a congratulations email (UMail), confirming you're officially a graduand! Ceremonies are currently available to graduates who receive their congratulations email prior to COB Friday 17 October.

If you have concerns about your completion processing because of delayed placement, assessment resubmission, or another situation, please contact UniSQ Support.

Your digital graduation documents will be available from the My eQuals portal within 72 hours of your congratulations email. We’ll send you an email notification (UMail) when these documents are ready:

Your digital testamur will be automatically added to My eQuals on your conferral date.

The graduation ceremony is a special moment and respected tradition where we honour the achievements of our newest graduates. While you don’t need to go, it can be a great opportunity to celebrate with your peers, family and friends.

UniSQ hosts a series of graduation ceremonies each season. When you’re eligible to attend a ceremony, we’ll send an email invitation to your UMail with instructions on how to register and pay.

To hold a place in your preferred ceremony time and location, we encourage you to register quickly, as spaces in each ceremony are limited.
