After working in a variety of industries, including as a truck driver, Ryan looked at his life and knew it was time to make a change.
Looking back at previous life experiences, Ryan knew that helping children learn new things and watching their ‘ah-ha’ moments when they understand it, was something he really enjoyed and felt came naturally to him.
Ryan enrolled into a Bachelor of Education (Primary) at the University of Southern Queensland where he currently studies both on-campus and online.

'It’s a lot more personal, whereas I feel in a lecture of 300 people, no one cares who you are or knows your name. It seems a lot easier when you can connect with the lectures and tutors like that.'
Currently in his second last year, Ryan has since become a UniSQ Student Ambassador where he assists future students by sharing his own experiences, journey, and knowledge.
