Aviation students take to the skies

UniSQ Bachelor of Aviation students took the opportunity to participate in a joy-flight experience celebrating the launch of two new routes operated by Bonza Airlines last month. They flew from Wellcamp to Townsville and Wellcamp to Proserpine.

Second-year aviation student Matthew Redway was on board the joy flight to Proserpine.

The flight with Bonza was a fantastic experience,” he said.

“Inviting aviation students to attend an inaugural flight from Toowoomba Wellcamp airport to Prosperpine gave us all a deeper insight into Bonza and the expansion of the aviation industry.

“One part that did stand out was Bonza's new 737 Max and how quiet it was to fly on.”
