Insurance

All students must be covered by insurance for the duration of their overseas studies. Some universities require the purchase of a local policy. If any insurance policy can be used, students may qualify to be covered under the UniSQ insurance policy. Please check with the Mobility Team at the time of acceptance to the exchange program. Students also need to pay for the compulsory health insurance plan, which is included in the Student Activity Fee. For further details, please visit the Akita International University website

There are limited Destination Australia Cheung Kong Exchange Program (DACKEP) grants, generously provided by the Cheung Kong Group, available to eligible students applying to study for a trimester/s at Akita International University.
