Educational Access Scheme (EAS)

The Educational Access Scheme (EAS) is a mechanism that may adjust your QTAC Selection Rank to compensate the effects of financial or personal challenges. This can include a student's low socio-economic status (low SES), and students who have faced disadvantage in their home or school environment that has negatively impacted their studies. Barriers such as financial constraints, lower access to academic support and students with a diagnoses disability can also apply apply for the Educational Access Scheme (EAS). Successful applicants receive selection rank adjustments that can meaningfully improve their competitiveness for tertiary admission. The applications for these adjustments are submitted with a QTAC application.
