Incoming Study Abroad International Travel Grant - 2026

The University of Southern Queensland will offer grants to non-award international students commencing or continuing their enrolment in the Study Abroad program, in Trimester 1, Trimester 2 or Trimester 3 2026.  

Each grant will have a maximum value of AUD2000 per trimester in accordance with the duration of the award.

The grant will be credited directly to the recipient's UniSQ student account as a reduction to their tuition fees.

*Students are responsible for paying the remainder of the fees as per the Offer Letter.

Successful recipients of the grant will be notified in their initial UniSQ Study Abroad program Offer Letter.

Applicants must:

  • be an international student
  • be commencing or continuing their studies in the Study Abroad program (fee paying) at UniSQ in Trimester 1, Trimester 2 or Trimester 3 2026
  • be studying on-campus
  • be enrolled in a minimum of three study units for each trimester in accordance with the duration of the grant awarded
  • be studying the Study Abroad program (fee paying) at UniSQ (not be studying Cross-institutional, Professional Development, Bachelor or Master courses)
  • have not already been awarded two grants over two trimesters.

Only one grant can be received per trimester of study.

Applicants will be considered for this grant based on the information provided in their UniSQ Study Abroad program application.

Applicants must complete an International Admission Application through the online application system.

  • Trimester 1: Monday 22 December 2025 at 5:00pm (AEST)
  • Trimester 2: Monday 6 April 2026 at 5:00pm (AEST)
  • Trimester 3: Monday 20 July 2026 at 5:00pm (AEST)
