Surveying Residential School Bursary

In 2026, UniSQ will offer a number of Surveying Residential School Bursaries to support domestic undergraduate surveying students attending compulsory residential schools.

This bursary was established by donations from the Surveyors’ Trust.

All allocated funds have been exhausted. Applications are now closed, and the bursary has ceased.

Each bursary will have a maximum value of $500 to be paid in 2026.

Applicants must:

  • be a domestic student currently residing in Australia
  • be enrolled in a UniSQ undergraduate surveying degree
  • be enrolled in and attending a residential school for one of the following courses:
    •  Trimester 2 2026:
      • SBE4402 Research Project
      • SBE4401 Research Practices in Surveying and Built Environment
    • Trimester 3 2026:
      • SVY2100 Fundamental Surveying Practice
      • SVY2300 Applied Surveying Practices
  • be attending a residential school held within Australia.

Please Note: Only surveying students enrolled in one of the listed courses are eligible for this bursary. All other students should apply via the Residential School Bursary.

Applicants must provide details of anticipated expenses that will be incurred to attend the residential school.
