Surveying Excellence Scholarship

In 2027, UniSQ will offer one Surveying Excellence Scholarship to support a domestic student commencing their studies in the Associate Degree of Surveying, Bachelor of Surveying Technology, or Bachelor of Surveying (Honours).

Established thanks to gifts from many donors to the Surveying Student Support Fund. This scholarship supports surveying students during their first year of study.

Value
The scholarship will have a maximum value of $5,000 to be paid in two instalments. 

Applicants must:

  • be a domestic student currently residing in Australia
  • be a commencing student
  • be intending to enrol full-time at UniSQ in the Associate Degree of Surveying, Bachelor of Surveying Technology, or Bachelor of Surveying (Honours) in Trimester 1 2027
  • have an income at or below the financial threshold limits.

Applicants must:

  • address each personal statement question below (250 words maximum per question):
    • universities provide a pathway to transform passion into a meaningful career. What experiences, influences, or defining moments have shaped your passions, and how have they directed your choice of study and future aspirations?
    • modern careers create opportunities to make a lasting positive impact on communities and society. What are your long-term career goals within your chosen field, and how do you envision using your profession to contribute to meaningful societal change?
    • personal growth often comes through challenges, service to others, and opportunities to take initiative. Describe a situation in which you demonstrated resilience, leadership, integrity, or a willingness to contribute to others. What did you learn from the experience, and how has it shaped the person you are today?
  • provide evidence of academic achievement as directed in the application process:
    • final year school report card or post-secondary academic history (transcript of results)
  • provide evidence of their current financial circumstances.

Please note: If an applicant holds other UniSQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
