Kambu Health First Nations Scholarship

In 2024, UniSQ will offer one Kambu Health First Nations Scholarship to support an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student commencing their studies in a health service-related associate degree or bachelor’s degree program offered through the School of Health and Medical Sciences, School of Nursing and Midwifery, or School of Psychology and Wellbeing.

Established in 2022 through the founding gift from Kambu Health.

The scholarship will have a maximum value of $5000 to be paid in two instalments.

Applicants must:

be a domestic student currently residing in Australia
be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person of Australia
be a commencing student
be intending to enrol full-time at UniSQ in a health service related associate degree or bachelor’s degree program offered through the School of Health and Medical Sciences, School of Nursing and Midwifery, or School of Psychology and Wellbeing in Study Period 1 2024 (e.g. Trimester 1 2024).

Applicants must:

address each personal statement question below (250 words maximum per question):
- what influenced and motivated you to choose your intended study program at UniSQ
- how you see yourself as a future professional within your field.
provide evidence you are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person of Australia.
provide evidence of your current financial circumstances.

Please Note: If an applicant holds other UniSQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
