Thermally Processable, Transparent, Mechanically Tunable and Robust Bioplastics from Wastepaper
Join us as Centre for Future Materials student Zhezhe Zhou presents on her PhD research on sustainable cellulose-based bioplastics derived from waste materials. In this presentation she will present a facile and scalable direct hot-press transformation approach to directly convert wastepaper into thermally processable, transparent, and high-performance bioplastics.
The Institute for Space, Defence and Advanced Technologies (ISDAT) Research Seminar Series brings together researchers and students from the Centre for Future Materials, Centre for Astrophysics, and the Hypersonics and Rocketry Group to showcase the breadth of research across the Institute. Presentations include HDR candidates at various stages of candidature, academic and research staff sharing current research, and occasional masterclasses on specialist topics. The monthly seminar series provides an opportunity to learn about emerging research, foster new collaborations, and increase awareness of the diverse expertise within ISDAT. All UniSQ staff and students are welcome to attend.
