Development and Performance of Sustainable One-part Geopolymer Composites from Agro-industrial Wastes
Join us as Centre for Future Materials student Seemab Tayyab presents on his PhD research focusing on sustainable construction materials and low-carbon binder technologies for civil engineering applications. This presentation explores the development and performance of sustainable one-part geopolymer composites using agro-industrial wastes to reduce reliance on conventional geopolymer materials and promote low-carbon construction.
The Institute for Space, Defence and Advanced Technologies (ISDAT) Research Seminar Series brings together researchers and students from the Centre for Future Materials, Centre for Astrophysics, and the Hypersonics and Rocketry Group to showcase the breadth of research across the Institute. Presentations include HDR candidates at various stages of candidature, academic and research staff sharing current research, and occasional masterclasses on specialist topics. The monthly seminar series provides an opportunity to learn about emerging research, foster new collaborations, and increase awareness of the diverse expertise within ISDAT. All UniSQ staff and students are welcome to attend.
