UniSQ's Psychology and Counselling Clinics are a community psychological and counselling service centre for children, adolescents and adults of all ages, operated by the School of Psychology and Counselling at UniSQ Toowoomba and UniSQ Ipswich.
The clinics offer services in therapy, consultation and cognitive assessment for both individuals and groups. These services are provided by provisionally registered psychologists and counsellors who are postgraduate students undertaking advanced study in psychology or counselling at UniSQ. All of our services are provided under the supervision of UniSQ staff who are Counsellors or Clinical Psychologists who are approved supervisors under the Psychology Board of Australia.
Services
The clinics provide assessment and treatment for a range of psychological issues, including:
- Depression
- Stress and anxiety
- Anger management
- Psychological disorders
- Emotional distress/adjustment issues
- Parenting issues
- Relationship problems
- Chronic health conditions
- Loss, grief and bereavement
- Lifestyle changes
- Learning difficulties
- Attention and executive functioning difficulties
- Cognitive and intellectual assessments
We do not provide autism spectrum disorder or memory assessments.
Clinic hours
The UniSQ Psychology and Counselling Clinics operate Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm by appointment.
Fees
Fees for attending the clinics at UniSQ Toowoomba and UniSQ Ipswich are:

Fees are negotiable in special circumstances.
Locations
The UniSQ Toowoomba Psychology and Counselling Clinic is located in Building W level 1 at UniSQ Toowoomba. Parking is available for clients in front of the clinic in car park 9. The clinic and access to the clinic is disabled friendly with disabled parking and ramp located nearby.
The UniSQ Ipswich Psychology and Counselling Clinic is located in Building B level 2 at UniSQ Ipswich. Parking is available for patients in front of the clinic in car park 1. The clinic and access to the clinic is disabled friendly with disabled parking and ramp located nearby.
The clinic is also accessible via public transport – bus 515 from Yamanto and Brassall.
