World Environment Day

UniSQ is hosting a Plant-a-plant event for UniSQ staff and students at our Toowoomba and Ipswich campuses in support of World Environment Day on Friday 5 June 2026.

Approximately 540 native plants have been sourced locally for the event and will be planted at designated locations at the two UniSQ campuses.

Staff and students wishing to participate in the planting should meet at the following locations, dressed in suitable clothing including hats, closed-in shoes, and gloves, with an adequate supply of water. Sunscreen, supplementary disposable gloves, and water will be available at the meeting points.

• Toowoomba campus - Gumbi Gumbi Gardens 
• Ipswich campus - Carpark 2 (near F block)
