Sports and exercise students can practice their health studies at UniSQ’s Exercise Physiology Clinic. While gaining hands-on experience at this clinic, students will serve the local community by helping to provide a variety of services, including assessment, exercise prescription and education.

Our paramedicine students become immersed in simulated education practices involving creating accident scenes and providing opportunities for intervention. The mobile simulation ambulance adds another layer to the quality health courses on offer at UniSQ.

When you study postgraduate psychology at UniSQ, you will become industry ready and gain practical experience with UniSQ's Psychology and Counselling Clinics, located in Ipswich and Toowoomba. Our postgraduate psychology students develop hands-on skills while offering vital services at a reduced rate to the wider community under the guidance of clinical psychologists and supervisors.

For those beginning their journey, the Associate Degree of Allied Health serves as both a standalone qualification and a stepping stone to bachelor's degrees in areas like occupational therapy, physiotherapy, social work, or speech pathology. Up to 12 courses from this program can count towards a bachelor's degree, facilitating a smooth transition to further studies.

Postgraduate options, such as the Graduate Certificate of Nursing, allow registered nurses to diversify their skill sets and prepare for leadership roles. This certificate can lead to further qualifications like the Graduate Diploma of Nursing or Master of Nursing, enhancing career prospects in clinical education, leadership, and more.

In counselling, the Graduate Diploma of Counselling enables you to apply for membership with the Australian Counselling Association. For full professional accreditation and practice as a counsellor, progressing to the Master of Counselling is the recommended study path.
