Students as Partners (SaP)
Students as Partners is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Whether you're leading as a student representative or sharing feedback with one, your voice helps build a university that listens, evolves, and puts students first. Your input can spark change, solve challenges, and make UniSQ a better place to study.
Your Student Representative is here to support you and help make your UniSQ experience the best it can be. You might reach out to them if you:
- Want to share feedback about your courses, assessments, or learning experience
- Have ideas to improve teaching, services, or campus life
- Need help navigating university processes or knowing who to speak to
- Want to stay informed about decisions affecting your program or faculty
- Are interested in contributing to positive change at UniSQ.
Student Representatives are your link to staff and decision-makers. By connecting with them, you’re helping shape a stronger, more inclusive university community.
To contact a student representation, email representation@unisq.edu.au or complete the online form.
Student Senate
The Student Senate is UniSQ’s highest student-led body. It plays a key role in university decision-making by representing student perspectives on learning, teaching, campus facilities, and other important matters. Senators share feedback, raise concerns, and make recommendations directly to the Associate Provost, helping shape the future of UniSQ.
Academic Student Representative (ASR)
Academic Student Representatives (ASRs) are appointed or elected to serve on Academic and Governance Committees. They contribute to the development of academic policies, provide feedback on services, and collaborate with staff to design and review courses. ASRs help improve the learning environment and ensure the student experience remains at the heart of academic decision-making.
As a Student Representative, you’ll gain valuable skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, while forming meaningful connections with peers and staff. Your involvement not only enhances your own journey but contributes to a stronger, more inclusive UniSQ.
Plus, enjoy exclusive benefits:
- Access to LinkedIn Learning
- Recognition through Graduate Excellence Award points
