Computer labs


UniSQ has over 20 general-purpose Windows labs across campuses, plus 24/7 access labs at each campus. Mac and Linux labs are also available at Toowoomba and Springfield.

Important to know:

  • Computers reboot after 20 minutes of inactivity (even if locked).
  • Save your work to UDrive as local files are deleted after restart.
  • Daily maintenance runs 12.00 am – 6.00am. You’ll get a 5-minute warning to save your work before shutdown.
  • If you have issues accessing a lab, please contact UniSQ Security for assistance.
  • If there is a fault with a computer, please note the computer number and report it to iconnect.

These labs are made available to you for academic purposes only and you must follow the Acceptable use of ICT Resources Policy. Breaches of the policy may lead to action under the Student General Conduct Policy.
