Orientation marks new chapter for students.

The University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) opens its doors to thousands of new students next week with a host of Orientation Week activities across campuses in Toowoomba, Springfield, Ipswich and online.

UniSQ Provost Professor Karen Nelson said Orientation Week was a chance for new students to get to know the campuses, hear from more experienced students, meet their lecturers and new classmates, and familiarise themselves with all the services available to support them during their studies.

“Orientation is an important start the uni year and it’s a wonderful opportunity for students to settle in and understand what to expect before they start their studies,” Professor Nelson said.

“We are looking forward to welcoming the next cohort of UniSQ students.

Workshops and information sessions to introduce students to their academic studies will run alongside numerous social events and activities on-campus in Toowoomba, Ipswich, Springfield and online.
