A disclosure log makes information available that has been released in response to an access application under the (RTI Act).
The University is required to delete information (including individual’s names) from any document or information published on the disclosure log that:
- if released, would be in breach of the Information Privacy Act 2009;
- is protected from disclosure under a contract;
- may be defamatory;
- is of a confidential nature communicated in confidence;
- is prevented by law from publication or disclosure; and
- would otherwise cause substantial harm, if disclosed.
In some cases, there may be blank pages in a document, due to either removal of information under section 78B of the RTI Act, or by deletion through the decision-making process for the original RTI application. Blank pages will not be included in the disclosure.
Released documents are only available in PDF format and should you require these documents in a different format, please contact us. We will endeavour to meet all reasonable requests for an alternate format of the document, free of charge.
