English language programs
Our English Language Preparatory Courses for Domestic Students is a free English language preparatory program that develops your linguistic and academic English skills and helps you transition into UniSQ’s UniPrep program.
The language programs at Union Institute of Language (UIL) equip students with the English skills they need to prepare for their future studies, travel or employment. Each UIL course provides domestic and international students with the opportunity to improve the key skill areas of reading, writing, listening and speaking. UIL’s supportive teachers encourage students to accurately use their English in a variety of settings.
To support progression into a UniSQ undergraduate degree, explore the UniSQ Foundation Program. This program introduces students to university academic culture, offering a solid foundation in key principles, issues and strategies essential for success in first-year undergraduate studies.
Our Study Tour programs provide a unique opportunity for students, academics and professionals to build upon their English language skills. Hosted at the UniSQ Toowoomba campus, the programs are custom designed to meet your group’s specific requirements.
You’ll also have the opportunity to practice your newly-acquired language skills by participating in a number of cultural, tourist and leisure activities.
