Study Abroad in Cambodia
The EduTREAK Cambodia international study tour is offered annually in the study break between Trimesters 2 and 3. As a participant, you spend two weeks with a passionate group of your UniSQ peers and two supervising academics in the Treak Community School in Treak village, just outside of Siem Reap. As part of this tour, you have the opportunity to work with Cambodian school children from various age groups, and with their teachers exchanging professional knowledge and building cross-cultural teaching skills.
Additional exciting cultural educational opportunities are included in this tour, including:
- visits to non-governmental organisations making a difference in the area
- a sunrise tour of world-heritage-listed Angkor Wat
- dinner with a Cambodian family from the village
- a visit to Kampong Khleang floating village by boat
- walking tours of Siem Reap and Treak village
- tickets to the famous traditional Cambodian Phare Acrobatic Circus.

Eligibility requirements
The program is open to all Education students and eligible students may cover program costs through a deferred OS-Help loan.
My time in Cambodia was a transformative experience that significantly impacted my personal and professional development.
