New freedoms in Australian education

The transition from a traditional textbook learning approach, to a collaborative, e-resource environment has been a positive experience for this Indian masters student.

Deepak has eased into the Australian education system and a successful study life at UniSQ Toowoomba. He has found the casual classroom approach allows him to openly communicate his ideas with professors and classmates.

'My master’s course is very practical and I know that I can apply what I am learning to genuine engineering scenarios. Our professors are up-to-date with the latest in industry and provide us with the latest course content for successful careers.'

He describes Toowoomba as having an appealing climate, welcoming people and is conveniently located to larger metropolitan cities.

'Toowoomba feels like home and I have managed to find part-time work.'

Deepak is studying a Master of Engineering Science (now Master of Professional Engineering) with a specialisation in mechanical engineering and hopes to pursue his PhD in the future.
