At the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) we host a range of events across our campuses each year to help raise community and industry awareness of tertiary education and our program offerings. These events also support students’ understanding of alternative study pathways while strengthening partnerships between schools and UniSQ.
We have developed this resource for you to promote UniSQ events to your students, engage your teams and encourage insightful conversations.
Open Day
Held across our Toowoomba, Springfield and Ipswich campuses, Open Day gives prospective students and their families the opportunity to experience UniSQ firsthand. It’s a chance to explore our campuses, connect with inspiring lecturers, and speak directly with current students about their study journeys.
Students can also learn about scholarships, discover our Head Start academic accelerator program and even apply on the day with our expert degree advisors!

Support Your Teen's Next Step – UniSQ Open Day 2026
If your child is considering university study, Open Day at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) is a valuable opportunity to explore their options together.
On the day, families can meet experienced lecturers, speak with current students about their university journey, and learn more about scholarships and support services available at UniSQ.
To make the application process even easier, UniSQ will cover the QTAC application fee (saving up to $75) for students who apply on the day with assistance from the Admissions team.
Open Day dates:
- Saturday 8 August 2026 – UniSQ Ipswich
- Saturday 8 August 2026 – UniSQ Springfield
- Saturday 15 August 2026 – UniSQ Toowoomba
We encourage parents and guardians to attend alongside their child to ask questions, gather information, and feel confident about the next steps toward university study. Register today!

Importantly, students who apply on the day with assistance from the UniSQ Admissions team can save up to $75, with UniSQ covering the QTAC application fee.
