Overview

UniSQ's Human Services degree provides you with the knowledge and skills to practice in diverse areas such as child and family welfare, disability support, domestic violence, substance abuse and youth work among others. Our courses give you a strong grounding in theoretical concepts as well as practical skills related to professional ethics, social justice, advocacy, community engagement and case management.

You will also gain real life experience through 420 hours of professional placement with relevant human services agencies when you study the following majors: Counselling, Child and Family Studies, Community Development and Indigenous Studies, and Health and Social Wellbeing.
