The Northern Inlnand NSW Node focuses on cotton, broadacre grains and the grazing regions of Northern NSW and the border region of Queensland.
The Node invests in demonstrations, extension and advisory services and activities to deliver increased resilience across the region, with a particular focus on:
- understanding and building financial literacy
- ruminant nutrition and grazing management principles
- opportunities and risks in environmental markets and natural capital
- investment in learning and capacity building to increase drought resilience
- protection of natural assets – soils, water, native vegetation and biodiversity
- improved wellbeing of farming families and their communities
