Paying your fees
You can pay your fees upfront or, if eligible, defer them through a HELP loan. Invoices are issued two weeks before each teaching period and are available in your Student Centre under Finances.
Your tax invoice shows your enrolled courses, fees, and due date - but the invoice is no longer available once payment or deferral is processed. You can always access a Statement of Account to view all charges and payments.
Check the Academic Calendar for fee due dates.

* New Zealand citizens must meet the following residency requirements to be eligible for a HELP loan. To be eligible, you must:
- be ordinarily resident in Australia and hold a Special Category Visa (Subclass 444)
- have first entered Australia to reside here as a dependent minor under the age of 18
- have been usually resident in Australia for at least 10 years
- have been physically present in Australia for a total of at least eight out of the past 10 years and 18 months out of the past two years.
If you are a New Zealand citizen and wish to request a HELP loan, you must provide a copy of your International Movement Record before your first census date for assessment of your eligibility. Students who are assessed as ineligible for a HELP loan must pay their student contribution amount or tuition fees in full by the census date.
The maximum amount you can borrow under the Higher Education Loan Program is set by the Government and is called your HELP entitlement. Your HELP entitlement limit is a renewable balance. Any repayments you make are credited towards your HELP limit which increases your available balance.
You can check your available HELP balance at myHELPbalance. You will need your Commonwealth Higher Education Student Support Number (CHESSN) or Unique Student Identifier (USI) and your Student ID to login to the portal and view your balance.
You must submit the relevant (CSP/HECS-HELP, FEE-HELP, or SA-HELP) Electronic Commonwealth Assistance Form (eCAF) before the census date of your first study period.

Fee-paying students
All students are required to pay their tuition fees in full by the study period fee payment due date. These can be found on the Academic calendar and dates page.
Payment reminders will be sent by email and SMS prior to the due date each study period. If payment has not been made by the due date, penalties for non-payment will be applied to your student record, including restrictions on access to Study Desk, results, transcripts, and future enrolment. The restrictions will remain on your record until the census date.
If you fail to make payment by the census date, your enrolment will be cancelled. Students may request reinstatement of their cancelled enrolment within 10 business days from the census date by making full payment of the outstanding amount.
International students
If you are an international student experiencing short term financial difficulties and are unable to pay your fees in full by the due date, you may be eligible for a fee extension. Applications for Tuition Fees Extension of Time must be submitted before the census date. Information on eligibility is provided on the application form.
