Residential Colleges Accommodation Assistance Scholarship

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Queensland housing shortage, the University of Southern Queensland is offering a Residential Colleges Accommodation Assistance Scholarship. This scholarship will be automatically applied for all eligible students. 

Value:

Each scholarship will be a $55 per week discount to be paid as a reduction in Residential College fees across Semester 1 and Semester 2 2023. 

Eligibility:

To be eligible, the following criteria must be met:

• New or continuing permanent resident to the Residential Colleges for Semester 1 and Semester 2 2023
• Studying a Preparation, Undergraduate or Postgraduate program
• Students receiving another residential scholarship (e.g. Residential Colleges Scholarship, Regional Leaders Scholarship, etc.) are not eligible

Application process:

There is no application process for this scholarship. The reduction in rent (or prorated amount), of $55 per week, will be applied to all fortnightly resident invoices. After each study period census date, accounts of residents receiving other residential scholarships will be adjusted to remove this discount.
