West Moreton Health PhD Scholarship

West Moreton and Health and UniSQ have been discussing issues with eating disorders and how to streamline the efficiencies of eating disorder treatment options through an innovative, cutting-edge AI Expert System for advanced clinical decision support and patient journey. In this context, West Moreton Health (WMH) and UniSQ will jointly explore solutions to eating disorders and associated comorbidities using a novel AI Expert System, based on existing data already available at WMH.

• Stipend of AUD $40,000 per year
• Maximum period of tenure of an award is 3 years. Periods of study already undertaken towards the degree will be deducted from the period of tenure.

 
To be eligible applicants must:
• Have completed a research qualification such as a recognised Honours or Masters with First Class Score equivalent.
• Have a solid track record of publications in premier journals (Q1).  
• Have applied, or planning to apply for a PhD program at UniSQ. 
• Not be receiving equivalent support providing a benefit greater than 75% of the student’s stipend rate;
• Be eligible to commence or continue the PhD program on or before 1 January 2027.
 
To be eligible applicants must:   
• Be eligible to study full time PhD at UniSQ.
• Have strong publications record.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong AI development skills, demonstrated through prior projects.
