Professor Shahjahan Khan Scholarship

In 2024, UniSQ will offer one Professor Shahjahan Khan Scholarship to support a student continuing their studies in a bachelor’s degree program.

Established in 2022, this scholarship supports international students at the University from a number of South Asian and Southeast Asian countries.

The scholarship will have a maximum value of $1000 to be paid in one instalment.

Applicants must:

be an international on-campus student
be a citizen of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Pakistan, or Indonesia (preference will be given to students who are citizens of Bangladesh)
not be a sponsored student
be continuing their studies full-time at UniSQ in a bachelor’s degree program in Study Period 1 2024 (e.g., Trimester 1 2024)
have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 4.0 as at the release of results for Semester 2 2023.

Applicants must:

address each personal statement question below (250 words maximum per question):
- your reflections on your studies at UniSQ to date and how you will make the most of your remaining studies
- how you see yourself as a future professional within your field
- the positive impact receiving this scholarship would have for you
provide evidence of your citizenship as directed in the application process.

*Applicants will also be assessed on academic achievement.

Please Note: If an applicant holds other UniSQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
