John Ross Clancy Indigenous Student Bursary

In 2023, UniSQ will offer one John Ross Clancy Indigenous Student Bursary to support an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander student continuing their studies in a bachelor's degree program (including dual degree programs).

The late John Ross Clancy was an advocate for Australian Indigenous affairs, and generously bequeathed funds to UniSQ to advance Australian Indigenous higher education. While John Ross Clancy had many achievements, both he and his wife, Lydia, were active in initiating the Black Women's Action group in the 1970s.

The bursary will have a maximum value of $1000 to be paid in one instalment.
