Brazil Family Foundation Agricultural Scholarship

In Trimester 2 2026, UniSQ will offer three Brazil Family Foundation Agricultural Scholarships to support students who have commenced or are commencing their studies in a bachelor’s degree program (including double degree programs), as listed.

First offered for 2025 and funded by a generous gift from Brazil Family Foundation, these scholarships will provide support for students pursuing studies in agriculture at UniSQ.

Each scholarship will have a maximum value of $24 000 to be paid over three years.

Applicants must:

  • be a domestic student currently residing in Australia
  • have commenced, or be commencing their studies full-time at UniSQ in Trimester 1 or 2 2026, in one of the following programs (including double degree programs):
    • Bachelor of Agricultural Technology and Management
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Agricultural Engineering)
    • Bachelor of Science (Animal Science) 
    • Bachelor of Science (Food Science)
    • Bachelor of Science (Plant Agricultural Science) 
    • Bachelor of Science (Honours) (Agriculture).

Applicants must:

  • address each personal statement question below (250 words maximum per question):
    • describe the experiences or influences which have driven your passion for your chosen field of study
    • describe your career goals within your chosen field, and the impact that you hope to make as a professional
  • provide evidence of academic achievement as directed in the application process:
    • final year school report card or post-secondary academic history (transcript of results).

Please Note: If an applicant holds other UniSQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.

Application must be made via the UniSQ Scholarships Online Application Management System.
