Professor Jan Recker is a leading Information Systems researcher. He is an Alexander-von-Humboldt Fellow, Nucleus Professor for Information Systems and Digital Innovation at the University of Hamburg, and Adjunct Professor at the QUT Business School. He is an award-winning scientist and ranks as one of the most published information systems academics of all time. He is included in Stanford’s list of top 2% of scientists on the planet and ranks 2nd in Information Systems in Germany. In 2018, he was named an AIS Fellow, the youngest ever Information Systems academic to receive this award.
In this presentation, Professor Recker will share insights from his research about how organisations build and implement agentic AI technology, drawing on field research with companies such as Bertelsmann, Volkswagen, Cognigy, Guidecom, Hackrod, and others.
