Join the Graduate Research School (GRS) for a comprehensive HDR student induction session designed to set you up for success in your research degree. During this session, you will be introduced to the key milestones and requirements of your program, learn how to navigate your Student Centre, and become familiar with the HDR Researcher Development Framework and the wide range of training and support available throughout your candidature. You’ll also gain a clear understanding of the role of the Graduate Research School, what you can expect from your supervisory team, and how your HDR journey typically progresses from commencement through to completion. We’ll cover essential information to help you get underway with confidence, including available resources, support services, and strategies for making the most of your first months as a research student. This session is also a great opportunity to meet fellow new HDR candidates, build early connections, and start forming your research community.
