It’s my birthday and you’re invited!
There are games, cake and candles (not too many candles the flames make me nervous) If only memories could be wrapped up and put in a box… Another Year, Another Burning Candle explores the way memory flickers in our minds, shining a little light on the path we have taken and sometimes even illuminating the path forward. Every year we add more and each year burns a little brighter in our memory.
But what if that becomes all we can see?
Can memories burn bright and warmth enough to guide the way home, or will they ignite something that can never be extinguished with a wish?
The culmination of my Honours year; it’s a play, an installation artwork, a celebration and it’s all really happening. This unique, immersive experience makes for one hell of a party that’s not to be missed – and you don’t even need to bring a gift.
