Motley – A Collection of Student Theatre Works pushes the boundaries of performance through experimentation with diverse theatrical styles, inviting audiences to question what it truly means to be human.

Program B – Show 2 presents two striking and unconventional works:

Thom Pain (Based on Nothing) is a darkly humorous and introspective solo piece—seemingly about nothing, yet uncovering everything. A finalist for the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the work explores isolation, identity, and the human condition through fragmented storytelling.

An Oak Tree blurs the line between reality and performance. Each show features a different actor who has not seen the script before, joining a hypnotist onstage in a deeply emotional exploration of grief, guilt, and culpability. Through this unique theatrical device, the play exposes the fragile boundaries between truth, illusion, and lived experience.

Ticket free. Limited capacity. Bookings essential.
