At the University of Southern Queensland, our ambition is clear: to become a research powerhouse while providing unparalleled learner-centred flexibility for our students. In 2023, UniSQ proudly secured the 55th position in the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings worldwide. Additionally, The Australian Financial Review's New Best Universities rankings have placed UniSQ as the second-best university in Greater Brisbane and 15th in Australia overall. Notably, our undergraduates have consistently achieved the second-highest starting salaries in the country.

Our achievements are more than just accolades; they are fuelled by passion and purpose. We are driven to make a positive impact by our collective power, through sharing stories, connection, innovation and delivering outcomes the world needs.

Guided by our core values of Respect, Integrity, and Excellence, we believe that our strength lies in individual differences. With a culture that embraces diversity and promotes inclusion, we foster an environment where our employees and students can contribute to their full potential while being accepted for who they are.

Our commitment

UniSQ is dedicated to closing the gender pay gap and ensuring fair compensation for all employees regardless of gender. We recognise that gender pay disparity persists in many industries, and we are actively working to address this issue within our organisation. Through transparent salary policies and ongoing analysis, support, and development for career progression, we strive to eliminate any disparities and promote equity in compensation for all employees.
