So how do we measure something that is effectively invisible? This activity will involve science and art to explore detection of a radiation we cannot see, and also to understand the value and importance of sunscreen usage to protect against biological damage. Specially designed paper will be used and will show changes caused by exposure to UV radiation. The overall method is referred to as a cyanotype, and is similar to the process of traditional film photography, however much simpler and faster to do!
