Australia Zoo Student Trip

Cost

Student tickets for the trip are $33pp which covers your Zoo entry for the day. Attending students can register guests (friends or family) to attend at $41pp.

Zookeeper Pat and Chat Experience

UniSQ are working with the Australia Zoo team to provide you with the option to add a Zookeeper Pat and Chat Experience to your day. There will be two limited sessions available (booked at registration). The cost for this experience is $7.50pp and is only available to UniSQ student attendees. 

Transport

UniSQ are providing limited free bus transport from each of our campuses. This transport option is only available to UniSQ student attendees. All guests are required to organise their own transport to Australia Zoo. UniSQ student attendees are welcome to organise their own travel, and will be required to if all bus seats are filled. 

Departure times (only for confirmed bookings):

• UniSQ Toowoomba: Attendees booked for this option are required to be at the Allison Dickson Bus Stop by 6.00am sharp.
• UniSQ Ipswich: Attendees booked for this option are required to be at the Intercampus Bus Station (UniSQ Ipswich) by 6.05am sharp.
• UniSQ Springfield: Attendees booked for this option are required to be at the Intercampus Bus Station (UniSQ Springfield) by 6.45am sharp.

Return times:

All return buses from Australia Zoo will depart at 5.00pm sharp. It is the attendees responsibility to arrive back to the bus zone by 4.45pm.

• UniSQ Toowoomba: Expected in Toowoomba at approximately 7.30pm.
• UniSQ Springfield: Expected in Springfield at approximately 6.40pm.
• UniSQ Ipswich: Expected in Ipswich at approximately 7.10pm.

Group check-in

All attendees are required to be present for the group check-in at Australia Zoo by 8.45am sharp, regardless of their transport option. 

Other considerations

• Please bring a hat, water bottle, comfortable shoes.
• Food is available for purchase at the Zoo, or can be brought from home.
