You may face challenges throughout your program, but by monitoring your academic progress, we hope to support you through these and assist you to get back on track. Your circumstances can change, or studies can vary due to a range of factors, such as personal challenges, family or health issues, financial pressures or finding a course particularly challenging.
The Student Success Advising Team contacts students who haven’t had a successful study period after results release. We aim to assist you to reflect on what’s been challenging about your learning and to boost your confidence in both academic skills and wellbeing.
Student Success Advisors can assist you with developing a strengths based Academic Improvement Plan. We will help you to:
- Reflect on your studies and identify any challenges that have impacted on your studies,
- Navigate the learning environment, policies, processes, and systems,
- Explore, identify, and connect you to support options specific to your individual needs,
- Set personalised goals and actions to get you back on track.
If you’ve recently received an Academic Progression Notification, you can make an in person, online, or phone appointment with an Advisor.
