Victoria

Experiencing the benefits of flexible learning.

There were a few stand-out reasons why UniSQ felt like the right fit for Victoria.

“I chose UniSQ because of the fantastic online learning available. I work full-time and need that flexibility. I knew the uni being a Toowoomba local (I’m now located in Brisbane), and my mum also worked there when I started (which she loved)."

Now mid-way through her Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology and Archaeology Extended) degree, Victoria says the best part of her experience so far is learning from talented experts.

“The lecturers are amazing at what they do and are so knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects. Hearing their passion is inspiring and motivates me with my studies.

“I also enjoy talking to other students on the online forums. It's helpful to chat to others doing the subject with you, to discuss relevant topics and share thoughts about the course, as well seek clarification and ask questions about the course itself.”

She has the following advice for those considering studying at UniSQ.

“Do it! Firstly, go to uni, don't hesitate when it comes to further education. And secondly, pick UniSQ, it's a great school, with friendly students and knowledgeable staff who are experienced at online teaching (they were doing it, and doing it well, long before COVID happened).”
