The UniSQ wellbeing team are offering a face-to-face opportunity for HDR students to explore their self-care strategies and improve and maintain wellbeing.
This interactive workshop will include three sessions.
Session 1: Psychoeducation and warning signs
We introduce what wellbeing and looking after yourself really means, explore the different dimensions of wellbeing, and help students identify early warning signs that they might be getting off balance.
Session 2: What’s working and areas to build
This is a reflective session, encouraging students to take stock of what they’re already doing well and where they might want to strengthen their self-care habits.
Session 3: Finalise the plan, barriers, and habits
We will support students to pull together a realistic, personalised self-care plan – one that includes both ongoing strategies and in-the-moment supports, with time to reflect on their motivation and what might get in the way.
