UniSQ Incarcerated Student Learning Resource Scheme

In 2024, UniSQ will offer the UniSQ Incarcerated Student Learning Resource Scheme to support incarcerated students who are commencing or continuing an undergraduate program at UniSQ, by assisting them with the purchase of required texts.

The funding provided for this aims to ensure that Australians from low SES backgrounds, regional and remote areas of Australia and Indigenous student who have the ability to study at university the opportunity to do so. It allows universities to undertake activities and implement strategies to improve access to undergraduate courses for these groups, as well as improving the retention and completion rates of those students.

The resource scheme will open each study period and is subject to ongoing eligibility.

The value per student of the resource scheme will be distributed on an as needs basis in line with the student's course requirements.
