Chancellor's Excellence Scholarship

In 2026, UniSQ will offer a number of Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships.

The scholarship is to reward and support the most outstanding academic achievers (ATAR 97+), who have completed Year 12 in 2025 and are commencing their studies at UniSQ in a bachelor’s degree program prior to 25 September 2026.

All bachelor programs are eligible.

Recipients may have the opportunity to participate in leadership and development programs as they are made available. Recipients will also have the opportunity to participate in the UniSQ Student Ambassador Program.

Each scholarship will have a maximum value of:

  • $24 000 (32-unit degree), or
  • $18 000 (24-unit degree).

Plus an optional Study Abroad package with a maximum value of $5000.

The scholarship will be paid as a stipend per study unit, per study period.

To be considered, prospective students must:

  • be a domestic student currently residing in Australia
  • have completed Year 12 in 2025
  • have an unadjusted ATAR of 97.00 or above
  • have placed UniSQ as their 1st preference on their QTAC application
  • be a commencing student
  • be intending to enrol full-time at UniSQ in a bachelor's degree program prior to 25 September 2026.

To be considered, prospective students must:

  • submit their QTAC applications and preferences by the required dates, and
  • place their chosen UniSQ program as their first preference via QTAC; then
    • all students with the required unadjusted ATAR will automatically be offered the scholarship.

Please Note: There are some scholarships that cannot be held together (e.g., recipients cannot hold this scholarship together with the Regional Leaders Scholarship).  If applicable, recipients will be provided the opportunity to nominate their preferred scholarship.

There is no application process for this scholarship.
