• Gain the skills and knowledge needed for your career as an allied health professional or for further study in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, social work or speech pathology.
• With a strong focus on rural and regional health, you’ll gain foundational knowledge in evidence-based practice, human communication, anatomy, physiology, culture, health, illness, and working with diverse populations.
• An associate degree is a great way to start your first degree at university or help you with a career change. Gain a university qualification and also a pathway to a bachelor degree. Did you know that up to 12 courses that you study can count towards a bachelor degree?

• As one of the fastest growing registered allied health professions, occupational therapists work with individuals, families, and communities across the lifespan to help people with injuries, developmental difficulties, illness, chronic health conditions or psychosocial needs to function in their environment.
• With UniSQ’s Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) you will learn to design and deliver high-quality occupational therapy (OT) assessment and interventions to people, their families and communities.
• Become a leader in the delivery of digital health care to the many people who have difficulty accessing face to face health services.
• Put theory into practice when completing 1000 hours of supervised clinical placement required for your occupational therapy registration.

• Do you have a passion for improving the lives of others? Speech pathologists assess and treat infants, children and adults with a wide range of developmental, congenital and acquired delays and disorders in speech, language, voice, fluency, multimodal communication and swallowing.
• Select from two honours pathways within your degree: the project option focuses on partnerships with industry to address everyday practice topics, or the research option allows you to create an individual research project (this pathway is dependent on your GPA).
• The Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) is pending accreditation by Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) which is a member of the National Alliance of Self-Regulating Professions (NASRHP). Upon accreditation approval, students are eligible for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia upon graduation.

• Become a physiotherapist and gain the skills to empower individuals impacted by pain, injury, illness, or disability to optimise movement and better participate in the activities they love.
• Explore musculoskeletal health, neurological physiotherapy, supporting those with acute conditions, and paediatric physiotherapy, and learn how to provide much-needed support to regional, rural, First Nations and low-resource communities.
• You'll graduate career-ready after completing a variety of hands-on industry placements with the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). 

• Study UniSQ’s Bachelor of Social Work online and work clinically with individuals and families to address inequalities and structural disadvantage; and advocate for justice through policy and legislative change.
• Become workplace-ready with industry-based practical placements and be mentored and supervised by an experienced social worker in a chosen field of practice.
• Graduate with the skills required to apply for Medicare provider number and deliver essential social work services in areas such as child protection, youth justice, domestic and family violence, mental health services, disability support, hospitals and health care, sexual assault services, asylum seekers and refugee support, community services and schools. 
• After successful completion of the first two years of the Bachelor of Social Work degree, you can apply to transfer into the Bachelor of Social Work (Honours). 

• Are you a UniSQ Bachelor of Social Work student wishing to extend yourself and your career with the Bachelor of Social Work (Honours)? After successful completion of your first two years of the Bachelor of Social Work, you may may enter the Bachelor of Social Work (Honours).
• Providing you meet the entry requirements, Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) students will be given credit for all courses completed in Years 1 and 2 of the Bachelor of Social Work. You will carry on to complete an additional two years, with research embedded.
• In an uncertain world, social workers have a key role to play– from working with individuals, assisting a family, working alongside a community group or advocating for social justice.
• Become a practice-ready graduate social work practitioner and be a catalyst for change, dedicated to achieving social justice, inclusion and wellbeing.

• Are you driven to make a difference with a career in medicine? UniSQ’s Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences (Medicine Pathway) will prepare you for a rewarding study journey into the post-graduate Doctor of Medicine degree.
• Upon successful completion of the degree within three years and with a minimum Grade Point Average of 5.0, you will gain direct entry into The University of Queensland’s Toowoomba-based Doctor of Medicine degree, taking place at the Rural Clinical School.
