Overview

  • UniSQ's Master of Spatial Science Technology (Surveying) is ideal if you have a three or four-year bachelor degree in a field other than engineering and you want to extend your knowledge in surveying.
  • Through this flexible 16 unit master’s degree you have the option to select surveying courses, including surveying computations, geodetic surveying and photogrammetry, as well as courses from related disciplines such as sustainable development, information systems and technology management.
  • You will also develop research methodology skills to complete a research project. The research project and dissertation is a stepping stone to further research degrees such as a PhD.

Entry requirements

  • Australian university three or four-year Bachelor degree in an approved discipline, or equivalent. 

English language requirements

You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.

Recognition of prior learning or work experience

If you have previously studied in your home country, you may be eligible for recognition of prior learning to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.
