UniSQ Community Award

Applicants must:

• be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, permanent humanitarian visa holder, or New Zealand citizen residing permanently in Australia and be enrolled on-campus, external or online; or
• be an international on-campus student enrolled at any UniSQ campus
• be continuing their studies at UniSQ in an associate degree, bachelor's degree, or postgraduate coursework program in Study Period 1 2023 (e.g., Semester 1 2023)
• have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 5.0 as at the release of results for Semester 2 2022
• be enrolled in a minimum of 1 UniSQ study unit in Study Period 1 2023 (e.g., Semester 1 2023)
• be involved in UniSQ community activities.

*Previous recipients of this award, or the USQ KickOn Bursary - USQ Community Award (previous name of this award) are not eligible to re-apply.

Applicants must:

• submit a personal statement (500 words maximum) outlining:         
  • how do you enrich the UniSQ community through your participation in UniSQ community activities
  • what have you personally gained through your participation.                                    
• demonstrate involvement in the UniSQ community in activities such as (but not limited to) the following:    
  • Student Representative on a UniSQ Academic or Governance Committee
  • Member of the Student Representative Committee
  • Student Representative on the UniSQ Student Guild Board 
  • Student Ambassador
  • Peer Assisted Study Session (PASS) Leader
  • Resident Advisor (UniSQ Residential Colleges)
  • UniSQ Residential Colleges Mentor
  • UniSQ Student Club Member
  • Intervarsity sport competitions (e.g., UniSport Nationals) and Residential Shield.

Please Note: If an applicant holds other UniSQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
