Scott Williams Foundation Scholarship

In Semester 2 2022, UniSQ will offer eight Scott Williams Foundation Scholarships to support students continuing their studies in the Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Business and Commerce (including dual degree programs).

The scholarship is intended to encourage students from regional areas with their studies in the hope that their future ventures will be based in their home regions or provide some social impact for regional Australia.

Each scholarship will have a maximum value of $5000 to be paid over two semesters.

Applicants must:

be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or permanent refugee and humanitarian visa holder (Subclass 200-219)
be from a regional or remote area of Australia
be continuing their studies at UniSQ in the Bachelor of Business (including dual degree programs) in Semester 2 2022
have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 4.0 as at the release of results for Semester 1 2022
be enrolled in a minimum of 3 study units in each of Semester 2 2022 and Semester 1 2023
be enrolled on-campus, external or online.

Applicants must:

submit a personal statement (500 words maximum) outlining:
- your reflections on your studies at UniSQ to date
- your current focus and how you will make the most of your remaining studies
- how you see yourself as a future professional within your field
- discuss your involvement and leadership endeavours.
provide evidence of your involvement/leadership endeavours within your school, UniSQ or within your local community as outlined in your personal statement.
provide evidence of financial need as directed in the application process.
provide evidence to show you have a permanent address in, or have relocated for study purposes from an inner regional, outer regional, remote or very remote area within Australia according to the Australian Statistical Geographic Standard Remoteness Areas 2016 - refer Health Workforce Locator map.

*Applicants will be assessed on their academic achievement.

Please Note: If an applicant holds other UniSQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection.
